A cookie is a small text file that the website you visit saves on your device (computer, telephone or tablet) through your browser. • Pixels, web beacons and similar tracking tools: Tools that make it possible to measure visitor behaviour by means of very small images or pieces of code embedded in the page. No such tools are used on our site.

This policy covers the cookies and similar technologies used on the Nura Aydınlatma website published at nuraaydinlatma.com and has been prepared taking into account the Guidelines on Cookie Practices (Çerez Uygulamaları Hakkında Rehber) of the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu). The policy reflects exactly the technologies actually used on the site; no boilerplate statements have been included for any tool that is not used.

Nura Aydınlatma uses cookies at the minimum level required for the site to work properly. Our purposes of use are as follows:

• Remembering the site language you have chosen so that you do not have to select the language again on every page you browse.
• Storing the fact that you have seen the cookie notice banner so that the banner is not shown again on every visit.

The table below sets out the first party cookies and local storage records used on our site, together with their functions:

No first party cookie other than those listed in this table is used on our site, and no session cookie following your navigation between pages is created either. As the site has no membership or account system, there is no cookie storing login information. Your card details are not saved on the site; payment is taken through the 3D Secure infrastructure of the banks and payment institutions, so no cookie carrying payment information is created by us.

The contact form collects your name, e-mail address, optionally your telephone number, the subject and the message; the newsletter form collects only your e-mail address. An IP address based rate limit is applied in order to prevent misuse of the forms. This security check is carried out on the server side and not through cookies, and it is not used for advertising or measurement purposes.

According to their purposes of use, cookies are generally grouped under four headings. What each type means and whether or not it is used on our site is stated separately below.

Strictly necessary (technical) cookies

These are the cookies that are necessary for the site to work and without which the service you request cannot be provided. Within this scope the only cookie used on our site is NEXT_LOCALE, which makes the language infrastructure work. Under the legislation no explicit consent is sought for strictly necessary cookies; nevertheless you are informed about them transparently through this policy.

Preference (functionality) cookies

These are the cookies that make the site easier for you to use by remembering choices such as language, region or appearance. The only cookie serving this purpose on our site is NEXT_LOCALE, which holds your language preference; alongside it, the fact that you have seen the cookie notice banner is stored in your browser's local storage. As both are necessary for the basic operation of the site, they are treated as strictly necessary cookies; they do not create a personalised profile and are not used for advertising purposes.

Performance and analytics cookies

These are the cookies that measure how visitors use the site and report which pages are viewed how often and where visitors come from. No cookie, tag or measurement tool for performance or analytics purposes is used on our site.

Marketing and targeting cookies

These are the cookies, mostly placed by advertising networks, that are used for displaying advertisements according to your interests, for remarketing and for measuring advertising performance. There is no cookie or pixel on our site for marketing, targeting or social media tracking purposes. The links given to our social media accounts are merely links and contain no embedded tracking tool.

There are two items of embedded third party content on our site so that the service can be provided. When this content is loaded into your browser, the relevant providers may place their own cookies and may access technical data such as your IP address and your browser and device information:

• Google Maps: Used on our contact and store pages in order to show the location of our showroom in Sultangazi on a map. If you view the map or interact with it, for instance by panning or zooming, Google may place its own cookies.
• Cloudflare Stream: Used to play the promotional video on our home page. When the video player is loaded or when you start the video, the provider may use its own cookies or similar technologies so that playback continues smoothly and so as to protect the security of the infrastructure.

The cookies relating to this content are placed not by Nura Aydınlatma but directly by the relevant providers. We have no control over the content, duration or storage of those cookies; in respect of these cookies the providers' own cookie and privacy policies apply. We use this content on our site not for advertising or measurement purposes, but solely in order to show the location of our store and to publish the video introducing our products.

You may block third party cookies from your browser settings. In that case the other parts of the site continue to work; however, the map may not be displayed or the video may not play.

On your first visit to the site you see a notice banner about the use of cookies at the bottom of the page. This banner offers no accept or reject choice; as only strictly necessary cookies are used on the site, as no explicit consent is sought for strictly necessary cookies and as there is no optional cookie you could reject, the banner simply informs you. The fact that you have seen the banner is not sent to our servers and is stored only in your browser's local storage under the key "nura-cerez-onayi", and the banner is not shown again. If you wish to see the banner again, it is enough to clear the site data belonging to this site from your browser settings.

The information obtained through cookies may qualify as personal data within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu). The data controller for this data is Nura Aydınlatma. For the cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, reliance is placed on the legal grounds set out in the second paragraph of Article 5 of the Law for which explicit consent is not sought, in particular the provisions concerning the legitimate interest of the data controller and the establishment and performance of a contract.

The information obtained through cookies is not used for advertising, profiling or the sending of commercial electronic messages; it is not shared with third parties unless there is a legal obligation and it is under no circumstances sold. The site infrastructure runs on our own server hosted in Türkiye; order and product data is kept on the Saleor e-commerce infrastructure. When the embedded content mentioned above is loaded, technical data such as your IP address and browser information may reach the servers of the relevant providers.

You may submit your requests concerning your rights to us through the KVKK Data Subject Application Form (KVKK Veri Sahibi Başvuru Formu), in a manner complying with the procedure set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller (Veri Sorumlusuna Başvuru Usul ve Esasları Hakkında Tebliğ), or through the contact channels given in the company details. The retention and destruction of the data is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymisation of Personal Data (Kişisel Verilerin Silinmesi, Yok Edilmesi veya Anonim Hale Getirilmesi Hakkında Yönetmelik).

Nura Aydınlatma may update this Cookie Policy because of changes in the legislation, decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu) and changes occurring in the technologies or embedded content used on the site. If a new cookie or similar technology starts to be used, the inventory in this policy is updated before it goes live.
