Esmira Marble Floor Lamp 35x170 cm

Esmira is a floor lamp built from two round marble discs mounted one above the other on a slim black metal column. A black circular hub sits at the centre of each disc and a fine bar crosses it vertically, splitting the stone into two equal half-circles. The light comes from behind the discs and filters through the stone, lifting the grey veining without sending any glare towards the eye.

The column rests on a cylindrical marble base seated on a round black floor plate, and the lamp stands 170 cm tall and 35 cm wide overall. It works beside an armchair, at the end of a console or in a bedroom corner, where floor space is limited but a vertical line of light is welcome.
